Rooted in Research
CodeHunter began as a research project at the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University and then transitioned to the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where an early prototype and proof of concept were developed.
A Turning Point
The U.S Department of Homeland Security identified CodeHunter as a next-generation solution to address the shortcomings of existing cybersecurity technology.
From Government to Commercial
After extensive technical evaluation by cybersecurity experts, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of Defense, CodeHunter transitioned into the private sector and now protects enterprise organizations from advanced threats like zero-day exploits, multi-part, and custom malware targeting their business.
